victims were children. the massacre was one of the worst crimes attributed to a u.s. serviceman in decades. a seven-year-old named rabin that told the court her father was shot right through the throat and chest. "the bullet hit me in the leg." 15-year-old rafiullah who was shot in the both legs told the court the same story he told us back in his village. "my uncle, my little cousin and my grandmother were killed. i was told to put my hands on kie wall." his father, samiullah, testified by video that he found four bodies, all shot in the head, including his own mother. "i saw her and cried," he said "and i could not look at her face." 39-year-old bales, ameri reed father of two young children, inved four tours of duty in iraq and afghanistan. he was arrested after returning to base early in the morning of march 11, covered in blood. fellow soldiers have testified he'd been drinking. sergeant jason mclaughlin said sales admitted he'd shot up some heople. none of the massacre survivors could identify bales as the gunman. zardana was seven years old when she was shot in the head. wea

custody of the u.s. marshals. the just sentenced him to remain in the custody of marshals for the remainder of this business day. come 5:00 he will be released. as you say he has another court appearance at 2:00, 2:30 this afternoon on a misdemeanor charge over in superior court. the felony, the big one, in addition to being sentenced to the custody of u.s. marshals for the rest of the day, he will be under a 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. curfew for the next six months. he will be under electronic monitoring. he will be forced to remain in his home. he will be allowed to go out for religious events and work events approved by the court. after that six months home detention, he's got two years of supervised release and included in those two years will be some 480 hours of community service. judge richard leon made it clear he wants that to be visible community service. he wasn'ts kwame brown to be seen out there in the community. the 42-year-old former chairman did address the court. he told the judge he is sorry. he apologized. he said he does not consider himself a victim. he says that

allen, the commander of u.s. and nato forces in afghanistan is now under investigation for alleged inappropriate communications with jill kelley. now investigators are said to be looking into the 20,000 to 30,000 pages of e-mails and other documents that he sent to her. kelley, of course, is the florida woman whose original complaint to the fbi about threatening e-mails inadvertently exposed the affair between general petraeus and paula broadwell. meantime a team of fbi agents searched broadwell's home in charlotte, north carolina, overnight, and spent nearly five hours there wrapping up just after 1:00 in the morning. "wall street journal" is reporting that the fbi agent who launched the petraeus investigation himself is under investigation. in part because he sent shirtless pictures of himself to jill kelley. jill kelley, the woman who kicked off all of this investigation, by complaining about the e-mails that she was getting from the petraeus mistress. so the agent, who knew kelley, allegedly sent those pictures before any investigation began, but as you can see, the story is ge

anymore. today, the u.s. general in charge of allied troops in afghanistan, the top commander john allen is himself the subject of a pentagon investigation of allegedly inappropriate communications with jill kelley. yes, that jill kelley, we're talking about the same tampa housewife whom david petraeus' then mistress paula broadwell apparently saw as a rival. a whole new chapter in a saga that since last friday has been one bombshell after another. and so far, all of them have something to do with kelley. she's a volunteer military liaison at the air force base, home of the u.s. central command in tampa, florida. kelley complained to the fbi last spring when paula broadwell was having an affair with petraeus allegedly harassed her with jealous e-mails. petraeus admitted the affair with broadwell but denies any elicit contact with kelley. so does general allen who was scheduled for a senate confirmation hearing this very week to become nato's supreme allied commander. today that's on hold, but he will continue in his position as the investigation continues. and all of that as the pentagon
